Prince's Bathmat or Cumberland's Banner ?

The "MacGregors" scouting the lay of the land and the enemy.

Dressed for the Ceildigh and ready to go.

While at the ceiligh The "MacGregor" noticed that the English Commander's quarters were ill guarded. When he mentioned it to me I said that it would make a fine present to the Prince in the morning, a new bath mat perhaps. We walked unnoticed up to the the tent finding no guards and no one about so we set about the task of unlashing the flag from the tent pole. While the "MacGregor" stood watch, I made quick work of undoing the coils of rope that had moments before secured the flag in place. I then neatly roll the flag up around the pole and the "MacGregor and I wlked through the English encampment unnoticed with our prize. We made our way back to our own encampment and stashed the "bathmat" for the night.

In the morning we presented the Bonnie Prince Charles with a new bathmat.
