At this point one would stand up... dressed in a Feile Mor (great kilt)

It could be worn down like this to keep the legs warm on a cold day. Or one would take the each bottom corner of the top piece and tuck it in the small of his back.

It could then be worn as such on a warm day to keep it both off your back and off the front of your legs.
Or worn over the shoulders as a cape
